I have started my study in Sep 2008. Although I was very happy for that, I faced a lot of difficulties in my study especially in English because I spent long time far away from studying environment.
In the future I’m willing to be active mechanical engineer helping building my country. I believe that this In my free time I like to do different kind of sport such as football and swimming. Moreover, I like to read some novel.
I’m writing this blog to discuss about the fact and causes of the global warming .I hop high lighting this issue will minimize the amount of carbon emission.

An Inconvenient Truth

Inconvenient Truth is a movie that talks about global warming. It is presented by Al Gore “the vice president under Clinton”. He shared a noble peace prize in 2007with Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). In this film Al Gore will talk about the greenhouse effect on global warming.
Al Gore shows in his presentation the relation between the increase of the planet temperature and the concentration of the CO2 in the air.

Al Gore emphasizes that one of the consequences of the increase in the ocean temperature is strong stomps can be generated such as Hurricanes Jean, Ivan and Katrina. Moreover, he added that the feedback cycle causes the ice on both pole to melt which can increase the sea levels worldwide up to 20 feet. As result, lands like Beijing, The Netherlands, Bangladesh, Florida and San Francisco will be covered by sea water and millions of people will be homeless. Furthermore, there will be serious shortage in drinking water. As 40% of which flow through rivers and spring systems that produced by the melted water coming off the glaciers. Also, dissertation will increase and more green land will disappear and there will be an expanding in infection diseases range.

At the end of his presentation, he suggest that more efficient power source, using renewable technology energy source, carbon capture, Higher mileage cars and other transport efficiency can reduce the CO2 in the air significantly. He added that the solutions are in our hand but we have to make it happen.

Global Warming 2

Global Warming 2

Global warming is the increase of green gases around the earth that traps more solar energy which causes an increase of the earth’s temperature.
Light comes from the sun and warms the land, water, and air which rise up toward the sky. The greenhouse effect in moderation has some positive effects. Gases in the Earth's atmosphere trap some of that heat and prevent it from escaping into space. This heat trap keeps the ground, oceans and air at fairly stable, predictable temperatures warm enough to allow thousands of plant and animal species and humans to thrive.
The main cause of the global warming is the increase of the dependence in using fossil fuel to produce energy, which causes increasing in Carbon emission to the atmosphere. Moreover, methane and nitrous oxide gases are another source of harmful gases. These gases are manly produced by cars, factories and plan. With a continued increase in CO2 levels there may be negative consequences. The ice in both poles may melt and lead to make the sea water covering populated islands. Moreover, turbulence to the climatic condition on the earth which lead more tornados ,hurricanes, floods and desertification.
